Summer of Sport
Inspired by the brilliant summer of sport with Bradley Wiggins being the first Brit to ever win the Tour de France, followed by Team GB’s amazing success in the 2012 Summer Olympics and Paralympic Games, I decided to give this Retro magazine rack a truly British feel.
Drain Hopper
This is an old-fashioned cast iron drain hopper and I mosaiced it for a friend who is crazy about dragonflies. It’s going to look great sitting in her beautiful garden.

Nod to Picasso – Don Quixote
I used to have a poster of Picasso’s Don Quixote but somehow it got damaged. Rather than buy another print I thought I’d paint my own on canvas. I used oil for this painting, for no other reason than I’d just been bought a set of oil paints and I’d never painted with oils before.
