I’ve been obsessed with getting the best photo possible of this apple core! I’ve been back several times and have taken dozens of pictures. This is my favourite
We are so lucky to have beautiful Nonsuch Park right on our doorstep and we visit it daily to walk our dog. Today I went alone to visit the formal gardens of Nonsuch Mansion because dogs aren’t allowed in!
The pretty rose tunnel.
The sundial appears on the OS map of 1913 and the cast iron horse trough with hoofs may be from the early 1900s also.
The imprints of what may be a squirrel made me laugh. We have recently had a new patio laid and our cat decided to walk across the newly cemented edge. Adds a bit of character to any garden
Over the last couple of weeks I have been busy making mosaic hearts to celebrate St. Valentine’s Day. They are all the same but different; the size and shape are the same, but they are decorated using different tesserae.
Probably my favourite, this heart is mosaiced in a vintage blue and orange china plate with an orange glass nugget to decorate.
This one has been mosaiced with a painted plate, showing flowers, trees and birds.
Next up comes a pretty pink and white Hedge Rose china heart.
And finally a red rose on a white background made from handcut vitreous glass.
These hearts are for sale in my shop but if you would like a heart designed in a different colour or style, please message me to discuss.
